the day my life changed

"Well this is a story all about how my life got flip-turned upside down..JUST KIDDING!" Seriously…here is a little story about a moment which changed my life forever.

Aaron and I decided to go on a trip when his  job required some video work in Iceland. We basically decided we'd make a vacation out of it! This turned out to be a great idea. 

After our amazing time in Iceland, we made our way to Paris. All along the way, we had been writing in travel journals daily.   Aaron gave me my journal as a gift right before the trip. 

While in Paris, I had set up multiple shoots for various collaborations. Little did I know Aaron secretly contacted one of the photographers and explained he was going to take over the shoot near the end. And that he did!

I had no idea that he was going to propose when he did. I thought I was in control- haha!  After shooting all around the Notre Dame area, Aaron proposed to me behind the gardens of Notre Dame.

In a shot which required us to read a book to each other, he took out his own travel journal and read a note he had written in the back. At the end of the note he asked me to marry him! 

The moment was beautiful! I am so happy!  For the rest of our lives we can always look back with the fondest memories of our special "April in Paris" !
