Speaking at The Fashion Intelligence Symposium...
I absolutely love talking to women in all walks about achieving personal style for less! I was excited when I was asked to talk during the Fashion Intelligence Symposium put on by The Murray Hill Institute at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City this weekend. I spoke to a beautiful group of ladies all about "How to Get the Look for Less".
When going in, I just wanted my talk to be a casual conversation (not a huge fan of speeches). I was planning on talking in a classroom but they wanted me to move to an amphitheater due to the large number who signed up for my segment. I stayed with the classroom to keep things VERY casual. The ladies and I were cozy! We had some of the best conversations on the subject of fashion for less!
I find when I speak I often learn more from my audience than I could ever say.
In short, I loved getting blessed with this opportunity and can't wait to do more talks in the future.
