Toast. It could be my favorite 5 letter word. I’ve always loved toast. Slap some butter on it, throw on some avocado and you could have a masterpiece of flavor on your hands. Toast is so dang delicious. While on vacation on an island off the coast of Florida, I decided to do a recipe guide on how to make my favorite 4 toasts. They are easy-as-pie, I swear! So here we go.
Zesty Almond Avocado Toast
You will need:
1 piece of toast (we love Ezekiel Bread)
1/2 Avocado
1/2 Lime
1 handful of spicy almonds (we love these ones from trader joes)
Directions: Slice up avocado and add it to the toast. Add juice of 1/2 lime to the top. Finish off with a few cut up spicy almonds for that extra kick. Enjoy!
Strawberry Spinach Toast
You will need:
1 piece of toast
A handful of strawberries
A handful of spinach
Directions: Just basically put a layer of spinach on the toast and top with strawberries. Easy peasy!
Tomato Avocado Toast
You will need:
1 piece of toast
1/2 Avocado
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 Tomato
Salt
Pepper
Directions: Drizzle olive oil and spread on bread. Add avocado slices. Add sliced tomatoes. Finish off with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Sunny Side Up Avocado Toast
You will need:
1 piece of toast
1/2 Avocado
1 egg
Directions: Slice up avocado. Add to toast. Cook egg sunny side up. Add to toast. Eat and relish in recipe victory!
